I set up an appointment to go see a 2002 jeep grand cherokee limited. Sigh. The troubles started there. It was a 45 minute drive to get there, which is obviously not their fault. What their fault IS is that they had the jeep parked with 3 cars staged in front of it. All which would need to be moved prior to a test drive. I pulled up on the lot and started my own inspection. It didn't take long (AT ALL) to find it was leaking what looked like power steering fluid all over the place (red flag). The Coolant overflow tank was empty (SUPER RED FLAG on the 4.7L motor- heads easily overheat and warp completely). Never did the salesman ask me if I wanted to take it on a test drive. When I mentioned the leak and the coolant he said, "these are used cars, sometimes we fix them." Complete waste of time. I'm not exaggerating this in any way. Super unprofessional, which I don't mind, but don't "make an appointment" for a badly leaking car and then not have it ready when you get there.
